The use of images within a learning environment can engage thinking, influence feelings and support developing skills. Assessment can also be based off images, by having students analyse and explore the picture.
Podcasts are audio files that listeners can prescribe to and listen to through their iPod or MP3 player. The same process can be done with video files, which are then referred to as Vodcasts. Podcasts and Vodcasts can to be used to give students information over the internet on blogs or websites. This can be particularly useful if students happen to miss class of it they wish to revisit any information for revision and study purposes.
